Electric mowers will not work well on tall thick or wet grass.

																	Best electric lawn mower reddit.

My initial choice was a ryobi 40v from home depot.
I want to get a battery powered lawn mower as i can t stand gas powered and a plug in would frustrate me.
The ryobi electric rear engine riding lawn mower can handle up to 2 5 acres of lawn on each charge thanks to its 100ah lead acid batteries.
A nice one is easily available for under 100 and if you have the skill you could replace all the engine gaskets for around 30.

I m looking at somewhere around 300 if that s even possible.
As for mowers if it is that uneven you ll want to stay away from reel mowers.
I have experience working with lawn equipment on a daily basis but one thing i lack is experience with electric equipment particularly lawn mowers and weed eaters.
I don t know the weight of the unit s you are looking at but i would suspect a battery powered electric is heavier.

A heavier mower is harder to use and will tire you out sooner.
I am a new homeowner and need new lawn equipment.
I was wondering what everyone s recommendations are.
Importantly even if you have a good engine the mower it is built on still needs to be good however i don t have any brands to recommend as i ve never bought a lawn mower new.

I have been hearing more often that electric equipment is now running as if it were gas powered equipment.
They simply do not have the horsepower to do so.
I ve got a fairly small lawn in northeast texas.
